  50 <p><i>tiffdump</i> displays directory information from files
  51 created according to the Tag Image File Format, Revision
  52 6.0. The header of each <small>TIFF</small> file (magic
  53 number, version, and first directory offset) is displayed,
  54 followed by the tag contents of each directory in the file.
  55 For each tag, the name, data type, count, and value(s) is
  56 displayed. When the symbolic name for a tag or data type is
  57 known, the symbolic name is displayed followed by it&rsquo;s
  58 numeric (decimal) value. Tag values are displayed enclosed
  59 in &lsquo;&lsquo;&lt;&gt;&rsquo;&rsquo; characters
  60 immediately preceded by the value of the count field. For
  61 example, an <i>ImageWidth</i> tag might be displayed as
  62 &lsquo;&lsquo;ImageWidth (256) SHORT (3)
