45options you need to edit the include/wx/msw/setup.h file enabling or

144 suits your needs) and use Batch Build to compile _all_ projects. If you
145 know you won't need some of the libraries (e.g. the HTML part), you don't have
146 to compile it. It will also produce similar variations on jpeg.lib,
147 png.lib, tiff.lib, zlib.lib, and regex.lib.

150 need to build them in the proper order (jpeg, png, tiff, zlib, regex, expat,

213default; you need to select them during the installation. Both native 64-bit
214compilers and 32-bit hosted cross compilers are included, so you do not need a

575the build, including debug/release and ANSI/Unicode settings. All makefiles in
576build\msw directory use same options (with a few exceptions documented below)
577and the only difference between them is in object files and library directory
578names and in make invocation command.

583There are two ways to modify the settings: either by passing the values as
584arguments when invoking make or by editing build\msw\config.$(compiler) file
585where $(compiler) is same extension as the makefile you use has (see below).

587process (e.g. GCC_VERSION or VENDOR). If you want to build several versions of
588wxWidgets and use them side by side, the former method is better. Settings in
589config.* files are shared by all makefiles (samples, contrib, main library),
590but if you pass the options as arguments, you must use same arguments you used
591for the library when building samples or contrib libraries!
