 $ env XTRA_OPTS='-fPIC' icurun -i /path/to/icu-build testmap.c

Where /path/to/icu-build is the path to an ICU build dir

And where icurun is from : http://source.icu-project.org/repos/icu/tools/trunk/scripts/icurun
