Supported Platforms

Redis can be compiled in most POSIX systems, but the development targets mainly:

• Linux
• Mac OS X
• FreeBSD
• OpenBSD
• Solaris (startting with Version 1.1)

Windows (using CygWin) is not a supported platform.
